For those who know the
guidelines:
All entries due by November 5,
2003
For those unaware of the
guidelines:
Since I've seemed to hit a creative dry spell in current weeks, I'm
turning to you, the fans (or at least those mistakenly stumble upon this
little nest of goodness on the web), to inspire and titillate me in a
completely non-sexual way. So what do you have to do? Simple.
1. Conceive an idea that is
focused on me. The "Amazing" part of the contest title is just
for show, you could submit an entire book bashing me and you just may win
(I won't be judging the entries because you're all great to me).
2. Implement the idea, that is to say, "do it." Gather your
supplies and as many people a you may need to accomplish your goal, then
achieve like the best of them!
3. Submit it to me by November 5, 2003: email,
regular-mail, call,
IM,
etc.
4. Wait with eager minds and humble hearts to get the final judgment from
our currently unknown judge.
Some tips from last
contest:
-
Stay clean, remember my
site is hosted by King's College, so no, I can't post naked women (...
JOE!).
-
Literary accomplishments
go far. Remember Paul Hamilton clinched the winning spot last year
with his "Legend of Pete" story.
-
Effort isn't always required.
Kyle (see right) & Mike Venos just wrote on a piece of paper and
took a picture.
-
Effort does score points.
For example, I never met Paul Hamilton before he submitted his entry,
all content to his story was composed of tremendous website research--
it was unbelievable.
-
Last contest one guideline
was "to impress me," that's no longer required, but bear in
mind you will have to impress some unknown judge
Hopefully last contest's
entries, along with their standings, will help inspire you to make some
extra-awesome new entries for this contest. ALL FROM LAST CONTEST ARE
ENCOURAGED TO RE-ENTER THIS ONE! PLEASE! NO ONE ELSE WILL!
And what's in this whole deal
from you? Well howsabout a Pete Phillips Prize Pack?
Second & Third Prizes to be
announced later.
Now get to work!
