I
changed this caption late.
right now, I'm at work, wearing the same shirt, and
just as poorly shaved as in this picture... craziness |
Well
kiddies, I've been dealt some sweet cards as of late. The last
full week was great. Things started to fall into place and, as
many comrades said, "Everything was comin' up Pete!"
Ah, thank God for weeks like that. They keep me goin-- I wake
up only to hope that the weeks can continue into another. So
far the good-two-weeks-in-a-row has been impossible, but I'm
okay with that, believe me, I'm not the neediest person ever.
I'm down with one good week at a time. So what was so cool
about my week? Let me tell you....
I
have a home
For the summer of 2003 I will be making my residence
here on the campus of King's College as a Summer RA.
That's cool, eh? I'm trying out the living on my own
thing, which is cheap in this situation, I know, because
I don't have to pay rent, but the theory's there, right?
It should be great fun. I'm looking forward to it.
I
have a car (still)
Sometimes you have to look for the good things. My car's still
kickin', so we'll count that as cool
I
have a plan
...to go to the circus. Tomorrow I'm heading to the circus in
Kingston with Karen, Tim, and Alexa. All should be
entertaining, to say the least. I was more excited last week
because any emotion from Karen is contagious, but since I
haven't seen her over break, it's kind of faded off. Melody (Ferkel-Priebe)
also scolded me for attending the circus, which I deserved,
because I didn't even think about poor mistreated animals,
just making Karen happy. So no one else should go to the
circus, ok?
I
have a purpose
No matter how far I may get in life I'll probably always be
dissatisfied, so I'm resting on the comforting fact that I can
help others much easier than I can help myself. I've decided
that the more friends and family I can comfort, the more
purpose-ful my life will be. That sounds pretty good, huh? If
you have a problem, contact me so I can help you and feel
useful... it's all I got, c'mon.
I
have a heart
Yes. You ass, I do have a heart. I've discovered over break,
in discussing the matter with Mike Shannon, that I've always
been snide and, as Mrs. Sgroi herself said, "vicious,"
but people are only realizing it now because Mike's not at
school to look like a bigger jerk. Without him off-setting me,
I look like a jerk. It's an odd deduction, but you'll get it,
keep re-reading. So in case anyone wanted to know for sure,
yes, I do have a heart, and it's usually hurting, but we've
already decided that love-related whining is bulls--t and not
allowed to be on this site.
I
have a bunch of new stuff
Mom bought me a new TV for the summer, some shoes, and clothes
and junk. I'm all set for the summer months. I wanna get
myself a fish too, but I'm not sure if it will live very long.
When I get depressed will I be capable of keeping it alive? I
don't know. But keep and eye out for new shoes on Pete's feet
in the coming weeks, ok?
I
have a suit
Oooh yeah. Sexy Pete is right fig-nuts! I got a suit for
presentation city at the end of the semester.
I
have an article to finish
And this is it. Rants will come in no time kids, I promise.
I've been somber and lazy lately, not to mention the piles and
piles of work I have to do for the end of the semester. Again,
I apologize. Thanks to everybody who listened when I said to
pray for my happiness, it worked last week! I appreciate it.
