And
here's this message from Kyle

My birthday
was this past Monday. I've finally gotten some time to write a little
something about it too. It was a good day, but I did have to take a nap in
between all the hubub. Actually there was no gigantic hubub to nap in
between, it was all pretty much after the nap. But let's walk
through a rough Day in the Life of a Superstar: Birthday Edition: 7:15
Wake-up. Say, "Damnit! It's my birthday, I'm gonna have a
bagel!" So I used my birthday money to get a bagel from the bagel
place at work.
7:40 Made it to work. I remember because I had to write it down. I made it
in though work with computer problems, but I only had to restart the
computer 12-15 times. It appears someone broke it while I was gone for the
week. Still, it didn't look bad enough outside for me to wear a hat. Bad
idea. Sometime while I was at work, Allison Ottino stopped by to say
"Happy Birthday."
I left work at about 11:45 and went back to my room, but before I got
there Karen called and I went to find her in the library, then we went
back to Hell-- I mean Luksic-- and I left to go get lunch. It was a
burger. Average. Then I ate it.
At 1:00 Karen and I went to class and learned about English. It was about
syntax today and the different ways you can combine sentences. Really
insightful stuff, huh? It wasn't too bad really.
I had to go to class later, but before that I hit up a boring dinner of
Hot Dog with Kyle. It was adequate, but nothing to write more about. I did
get some milk though, that way I could enjoy the delicacies from home that
I brought from Break. Good idea too, I have apple pie stuff and donut
holes.
When we went to class, I had fun with my midterm. It's Photoshop class and
I submitted the following advertisement for our Mass Communications
Prepreregistration Fair:
It
took a little while, but it worked out okay. I got out of class an hour
early with express instructions to call Karen when I got out. If I didn't
call her immediately God only knows what could have happened if I didn't.
Upon calling the plans to go to dinner and get Chip back were thwarted by
the David Blight School of Dance, or so I thought. "I'm stuck at
work," she said. I took this valuable opportunity to sleep. I left
the TV on and Final Destination flickered too much. I left it on
because I thought it would put me to sleep. Unfortunately it flashed so
much that I couldn't sleep. Regardless, I did get some degree of rest. I
was also reprimanded later for napping on my birthday by Karen.
Chip had been in Mountaintop (still not dead) all last week and it was
time for him to come home. Mid-week he was allegedly transported to
Wilkes-Barre to be put in the care of Charbi Weby, but that was all lies.
Instead of Chip, I got a surprise party! Wow, huh? Who knew? I admitted my
suspicion of such an event after interrogation weeks ago (by Karen) about
what kind of party I would like for my birthday. It turned out to be
perfect with a Spiderman banner; chips, pretzels, popcorn, and pizza;
balloons all over the place; and TWO cakes-- ice cream and regular. It was
a decidedly good time for all, except Allison, who was offended at my lack
of surprise. I'm not an excitable person, what can I say? Not to mention I
did just wake up minutes before. I was in disarray. What more can I say?
During the party I ate far too much and pined for the presence of Will
Kesselring. Afterwards, I went home, showered, shaved, and slept a long,
long time. I had work the next day at 8:00 AM, but overnight I got really
sick! Thanks to bacteria and disease for that great present. Also, thanks
to Charbi, Alexa, Tim, Andy, Allison, Kyle, Tammy, BJ, and of course,
Karen for a great party. Way to go kiddies. I really don't think I forgot
anyone, but if I did, you can slap me!
That's the end.
