The investigation started immediately. This couldn't be a job that we'd jump right into. This would take time and careful concentration, unless we just did finger-pointing, which would be easier. Kyle lost interest in about ten minutes. Is that because he was guilty? I stayed on the case with all I had. I brought up the subject to BJ, who related a similar reaction to mine, "Ya know, we never had this problem before, why all of a sudden did someone forget how to flush?" This was interesting because personnel changes had occurred in the building. Mr. Ryan Newbie, for example, has only been in the building for a month or so. And Mr. Mike T has been here even shorter. "I don't know, but I'm sick of all the long hair in the shower," said BJ, in a later conversation. Kyle seconded his grief and sarcastically wondered who would be behind that. Again, trying to change the subject... No one is safe-- even Kyle is a suspect. Except BJ, he's out. Derek is also out because he takes care to clean out the sink and wash up when he completes his daily shaving ritual. Derek's cleanliness will be rewarded later in life, but for now he'll have to settle with being off the suspect list. At this point in the game, we'll look at our suspect list again:
